Introduction of the new Z25HDR forklift.

2009
December 9th: Carer Srl is established with a new ownership and new management.

2008
The F series improve its loading capacity. The F 70 is designed, the most compact forklift in its category.

2007
The first truck 10T container version is designed, built and delivered.

2006
The first series of electronic controls in AC and motors designed and developed entirely by Carer is launched in collaboration with the University of Bologna (Faculty of Engineering). Such new technology has been used to move the latest of Carer’s creations: the F 250, with a load capacity of 25 tons. A loading centre of gravity 1200 mm, unique pneumatic tires which offer a similar performance as thermal forklifts of same capacity. Carer’s range consists of different models with load-bearing capacity from 800 to 25,000 kg.

2005
Carer reaches an agreement with Komatsu to market some Komatsu combustion products in Italy .

2004
Carer revolutionizes the market of retractable and introduces the F16M, an AC front traction truck that runs in the same space. Carer presents the new alternating current (AC) series ZC.

2003
CARER obtains UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 certification. The new F series is developed and models with load-bearing capacities of 5000 and 6000 Kg go into production.

2001
The ZN series - based on a new "design flexibility" concept that reduces the time needed to get new models to market - goes into production. CARER extends its 3-wheel range by presenting the variable-wheelbase front wheel drive NK series that stands out on account of its compactness and excellent handling.

1997
CARER obtains UNI EN ISO 9001 certification.

1995
CARER is now able to offer its customers a versatile range of electric trucks, from the small 3-wheel K series with a load-bearing capacity of 1000 Kg all the way up to the powerful 16000 Kg R series trucks.

1992
Following 8 months of development CARER starts producing the R120CHS: with a massive load-bearing capacity of 12000 Kg it is characterised by pleasurable, innovative design. The magazine Auto&Design dedicates an article to it in its February issue.

1990
The Cotignola site is extended: a second production plant is built, raising indoor surface area to 5000 m2.

1988
The range is extended even further with the addition of models that can handle up to 8500 Kg. Thanks to the high quality and performance standards of its electrical systems, CARER continues to strengthen its market position. Design work starts being carried out with the aid of CAD systems.

1984
Increased output and an extended product range causes the company to outgrow its Fusignano plant. In May CARER transfers production to the new, more functional Cotignola (Ra) site.

1982
CARER uses electronic energy regeneration. It is the first Italian company to use such advanced technology - and the second in Europe.

1981
The range is extended to include the R30, R40 and R50 models. The Z series of 4-wheel trucks is improved.

1979
The Rapid version of the 4-wheel models is introduced. CARER trucks are now among the fastest on the market, reaching speeds of up to 21 Km/h.

1977
Production of the 3-wheel 1200/3 - 1500/3 and 4-wheel C150, C180, C200 and C250 models begins.

1976
The company is founded and initially based in Fusignano (Ra) in via Santa Barbara, 158. The first electric flat-bed truck, the kiln-handling P4500, is built. This first truck immediately features electronic traction control.
